Set of 8 photos, provenance is from photo album of a member of the American 199th Aero Squadron. Several with identified airmen.
This Squadron was stationed at RAF Boscombe Downs and Yatesbury Wilshire UK in 1918. Most photos likely from there. At least one identified as France.

The company was founded by the Schweizer brothers — Paul, Ernest, and William — who built their first glider in 1930 and incorporated the company in 1939. For decades, Schweizer gliders were the standard training aircraft for American pilots.
US 199th Aero Squadron at Yatesbury
A U.S. Air Service unit history document states:
Boscombe Down: Training Depot Station (RFC). Hosted U.S. squadrons for advanced training; part of 199th’s early UK period
Yatesbury: Major RFC/RAF training center. Hosted many U.S. squadrons, including the 199th, for pilot/observer/technical training
