The Montreal Pharmacy, which was located on Sainte-Catherine Street from 1923 to 1985 is undoubtedly one of the jewels of Montreal history. Its founder, pharmacist Charles Édouard Duquette showed such audacity that the reputation of his establishment quickly went around the world. From a modest drug counter, it quickly transformed into a veritable institution, occupying a five-story building and counting more than 50 delivery cars to distribute orders throughout Montreal, day or night.
