The football is long, rounded “melon” shape, no pointed ends, and laces visible but not modern style. This shape is pre‑1915, most common 1900–1912.
The uniform is heavy knit cardigan sweater (button‑front), padded canvas pants with external quilting, high lace‑up boots, and no helmet. This combination is classic 1905–1912 high‑school and college gear.
