Abelard Richard who has seldom possessed as much as $65 in his life, has refused an offer of $65,000 for his bit of scrub land in Northern Ontario, following the discovery of gold in neighbouring farms in the District near the town of Ramore. Since a $150,000 option has been paid for an adjoining piece of property, Richard stays in his little three-roomed log cabin and awaits a larger offer from the mining interests. CREDIT LINE (ACME)
