This cook book has recipes for making toast, sandwich fillings and spreads but goes one step further with doughnut crisps, brownies, deviled crab, refrigerator pie, banana pudding, Yankee fluff and rhubarb Betty. Especially useful is the pie crusts without pastry. It is illustrated with black and white and four color illustrations. It even has money saving tips from the depths of the Depression.
