Nice WW1-era photo of Miss Ethel Case’s class, 27 boys and girls of a wide range of ages, taken standing in front of one-room schoolhouse entrance.

Students identified on back. Many siblings.

No location, but some genealogical research has shown  Edgar Cudmore (b. 1905) and his brother Gordon Cudmore (b. 1906), which would match the ages of two of the boys in the photo. They were born in Huron Ontario, buried in Exeter.

Newspaper records narrow it down to S.S. School No. 1 in Usborne Ontario, with Miss E.C. Case teacher. In March of 2015 G. Cudmore was in Sr. I.

On back:

Around 1915    Ethel Case teacher    Mrs. Chas. Alliston
Left Front  Harold Wood James Oke…
Back Row  Percy Harris Edgar Cudmore…

Photo glued to thick paper card.

Few edge nicks on photo. Smudges on card.

Photo: 12 x 17 cm

Card: 17.5 x 23 cm
