Meton Georgia was a tiny early‑20th‑century railroad flag stop that no longer exists as an incorporated town.

Message on front “Dear Miley: You would like to see these little d***ies. We are at Mollie’s fathers hotel here. Olive

Mailed to Muncie Indiana. Postmarked –ETO----  on 1 cent Franklin stamp. Receiving postmark on front ‘MUNCIE IND MAR 19 1907'

Based on early Georgia railroad maps and small‑station listings  Meton appears in several 1900–1915 railway and postal references as:

  • A railroad siding / whistle stop
  • Located in Georgia, likely on a Central of Georgia Railway or Georgia & Florida Railway minor branch
  • Not a town with a post office after ca. 1915 (disappears from directories)
