Set of two stock certificates for the Chelten Corporation (Delaware):

1. 22 shares to Mary Shoemaker Jul. 29, 1936
2. 45 shares to Estate of James Kirkbride Oct. 26 1936

Really nice eagle vignette at top.

Both have been cancelled.

First one has piece of blue paper glued to back. Second has piece of paper related to estate stapled to certificate.

Both in fine condition, some slight staining. Some light browning around edges.

The Chelton Corporation was incorporated in 1906 and was acquired by the Guarantee Trust and Safe Deposit Company in 1928. This company was merged with the Tradesmen's National and Trust Company in the later half of 1928.. Over the years. all of these companies were ultimately rolled up into PNC Bank Corp
