Two nice photo postcards with similar image: a woman in a baseball uniform climbing over a fence. In one hand she is holding her baseball bat. On the other side of the fence is a baseball glove and ball, a catcher’s mask and a base.

First is labeled ‘COME ON, BOYS and is addressed to Mrs. Dowd in Chicago, but not mailed.

Second is labeled ‘BATTER UP.  Mailed from Centreville IA to Moravia IA on ‘AUG 19 1911’ Appears to be written by a child. text “…Mama and Papa are in Oklahoma. Mamma got a telegram Tuesday her father was dead…” Couple of corner creases, small tear with scotch tape left border.
