Wellesley College is a private women's liberal arts college in Wellesley, Massachusetts, founded in 1870. Wood Cottage was a residence at the College, eventually renamed Wood House.

Text on back “one of the houses on the hill”.

Postmarked 'WELLESLEY OCT 21 MASS. 1921' on 2 cent Washington stamp. Mailed to Paris France.

Uses KRUXO photographic paper (1911-1922).

Paper remnant on upper tree branch, crease UR corner. Smudges and toning on back.
