Set of 6 photo postcards of a large ceremonial March Past of the 1st Canadian Division took place in Liège, Belgium on 4 February 1919. This was part of the post‑Armistice occupation and demobilization period.

One shows Canadian Scottish bagpipers in full ceremonial dress, likely from the 16th Battalion (Canadian Scottish Regiment), which was part of the 1st Division.

5 are labeled at bottom 'LIEGE, REVUE CANADIENNE   F. Célis Photo'

Félix Célis was a professional photographer from Liège,

Unused.

Units involved:

    • 1st Canadian Division
    • 2nd Canadian Division
    • Selected Corps Troops (e.g., 5th Canadian Divisional Artillery)

Canadian battalions selected 100 all ranks each to participate.

Reviewing officers were Lieut‑Gen. Jacques of the Belgian 3rd Army and Lieut‑Gen. Sir Arthur Currie, Canadian Corps Commander

The parade was part of the broader Allied presence in Belgium after the Armistice. Many Canadian units were still stationed in France and Belgium while awaiting transport home.
