Nice grouping of vintage black and white photos from the Lake Placid area of New York.

Grouping #1 - 27 photos

27 photos Images of fields, lakes, dogsleds, creeks, forests, etc.

Photographer stamp on back:

‘Pierson Studio Lake Placid N. Y.’

Pierson Studio was a noted photographer of the Olympics.

All have an inventory (location?) number written on front in ink (and back). Format is number, followed by a ‘W’.

Some have text on photo negative, such as:

• “Mushing” at Lake Placid N.Y.
• Mirror Lake In Winter Lake Placid, N.Y.
• Lake Placid N.Y.
• Mirror Lake Lake Placid N.Y. 

Almost all are 4 ¼ x 6 ¼”, a couple are smaller formats.

Grouping #2- 4 photos

4 photos with no identifying marks.  Three are of summer lake scenes, one winter of house on lake. Do not appear to belong with other set of photos (different paper, etc..)

Largest is 3 ⅝" x 5 ⅝"

All 31 photos the paper is a bit curved.
