Two nice posed studio photos of African-American women.

Both are glued inside brown embossed cardboard sleeves that open to show the photo.

Both sleeves are the same, but only one is has the studio name. Since they are from the same lot, I am assuming they are from the same studio

On one sleeve in raised lettering ‘POTTENGER Wichita’ (Kansas).

One sleeve has two corner chips and tear along page fold. Other has couple of small tears on page folds. Some red staining of covers

Card: 8 ½” x 5 ½”

Harry Pottenger Wichita. Studio located at 106 E Douglas, Wichita, KS (1904) (1905), then122 Market St. He sold his studio to Fred H. Reed and O. R. Wertz in 1920. He died in 1923.
