Interesting photo album of a German Wehrmacht soldier early in the war, from training in Germany to posting in France. Mostly military pictures. Written dates are 1940-42.

On cover, glued postcard image of soldier on guard duty, and a B&W head shot of soldier (note collar patches). Another larger photo inside front cover, followed by 40 pages with photos, and finally 2 pictures on inside back cover.

Many pages have pencil written notes in German. Couple family photos, his military company photos, day to day military and social activities. No combat photos.
