Letterhead of Gerson, Seligman & Co Distillers, Cincinnati Ohio Mar 3rd 1905.

The company existed under this name from 1900-1910. They were located at 320 Central Ave in Cincinnati.

#2 1908 letter from P.J. Bowlin Liquor Co.

Letterhead of P.J. Bowlin Liquor Co., Wholesale Dealers in Imported & Domestic Wines & Liquors St. Paul Minn, June 3rd 1908.

For 50 of his 76 years of life,  Patrick Bowlin was engaged in keeping the thirsty people of St. Paul and greater Minnesota well supplied with highly palatable liquor.  That he did so with panache and style made this Irish immigrant stand out among his peers and hailed at his death for ranking among the city’s best businessmen.

Letter to I. Sauvin & CO., Cognac France, “We have your invoice if May 22nd, covering four octaves of 1896 brandy, We beg t refer you to our letter of April 9th, in which we state: “ marine insurance to your care, which you may charge us on the original invoice”…
