Lot of seven internal City of Pittsburgh finance documents:

  1. Letter of July 6th 1940: from Federal Works Agency (Washington) to Vice-President Farmers Deposit National Bank Pittsburgh acknowledging transfer from escrow to City of Pittsburgh Construction Acct, Playgrounds.
  2. Letter of December 14,1943: from City of Pittsburgh to Farmers Deposit National Bank authority to two people (names and signatures) to represent Sinking Fund Commission of the City. Many signatures of City and Bank.
  3. Letter of December 30th, 1944: from City of Pittsburgh Treasurer James Kirk to Farmers Deposit National Bank with copy of Bank Depository Agreement for 1945.
  4. Letter of January 30th,1945: from City of Pittsburgh to Pitt National Bank authority to two people (names and signatures) to represent City in entering stated Safe Deposit Box. Many signatures of City and Bank, including Treasurer and Deputy City Controller.
  5. Letter of December 11th, 1946: from City of Pittsburgh to Farmers Deposit National Bank indicating City Council has designated the bank an INACTIVE,ACTIVE, and INACTIVE, BOND FUND depository of City of Pittsburgh for 1947. Signed by City Treasurer Kirk.
  6. Letter of November 28th, 1949: from City of Pittsburgh to Farmers Deposit National Bank indicating City Council has designated the bank a depository of City funds for 1950: INACTIVE General Funds, ACTIVE, and INACTIVE, Bond Funds. Signed by City Treasurer Kirk.
  7. Attached to back of previous letter (#6), letter from Farmers Deposit National Bank stating that enclosed four Agreement blanks mentioned in that letter. Signed by cashier.

Letters in fine condition. Some slight creasing.
