Woodard operated studios in Chicago’s Souh side, NYC and Kansas City, active 1920s to 1940s. They were known for their photos of African-Americans.
There are some reversed numbers at the top of the photo, but no obvious date.
Photo glued inside brown cardboard folder. Some crease on corners. Stains on outside cover. Smaller inner flap of folder partially detached. Piece missing LR corner of cardboard of photo page.
