Your favour of the 18th last came duly to hand & in reply we have to say that we should like the first 50 cases sent by Faulkner & Co, with the small labels “Bottles expressly &c” loose & unless you hear from us in the mean time to the contrary the second 50 cases (to be shipped from Bordeaux on August 1st) may come the same way.
We should be glad ro receive the first parcel at your very earliest convenience as we are now nearly out of that wine
