German badge, with pebbled translucent red enamel.It is white alloy with red white and black enamel and light lettering.

It has raised 'M1/78' and 'Ges.Gesch.' maker marks on the back. There are several variations for this medal. It dates from the pre-war period.

Also on back ‘RZM’ mark. Maker is Paulmann & Crone in Lüdenscheid.


It is brass with red white and black enamel and gilt lettering.


German Westmark region identification enamel badge.

Both measure 2.3 cm. Nice condition.

Deutscher Volks Genossen Bund (German Fellow-countrymen League) was an organization of ethnic Germans from the Alsace-Lorraine region of France who sought unification with Germany. They copied the NSDAP membership badge but reversed the colors.
