1924 RPPC with small town auto service station - ads!

$95.00 CAD

– Sold Out

Postcard with super image of small town gas station and auto tire repair company.

Poster at front door for Cecil B. DeMille's movie 'The Ten Commandments' dates this card to fall 1924.

Nice early gas pump and parked Model T. Station sign advertising for Premier Gasoline and Polarine Motor Oils.

Postcard used with message from 'Mother' dated Peterboro Oct 27. Assuming Peterborough Ontario (?).

Some smudges on the text side. Little crack left side of photo.

Polarine was a “baby” brand of the Standard Oil Company and their ads appeared a lot in the early 1900’s with the new popularity of the “horseless carriage”.
